Abstract

Reformation era has been running for long time in Indonesia, including the free of make an opinion in the public space. But the fact shows sometimes the demonstration has been showed off in a rude way. When this happened, the police shows repressive act againts the demonstration. This fact is ironic because the repressive acts done by the police. The aim of this study is to know the description about police’s aggresion against the demonstration. The participants are police men who ever done the aggresive behavior against the demonstration. The data is collected by some test such as EPPS and DAP. The result shows that the aggresion showed by the police is just a response to the aggression done by the demonstration.Key words: aggresive behavior, policemen, demonstration

Abstract

Work satisfaction has an effect to employee wealthy at PT. Nagaraja Lestari in taking the policy and to motivate employee to enhancing the work performance in giving wages, salary, incentives, job promotion and employee healthy. This research is using qualitative approach and using observation and interview as tool research. Data collecting is in naration, description, story, written and unwritten documents. When employee has higher work satisfaction they will psychological wealthy fullfilness.Key words: work satisfaction, job performance

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the difference of work satisfaction based on gender leadership. The participants of this research is 48 teachers from SMP Negeri 2 Kartasura and SMP Negeri 3 Kartasura. The result of this research shows t-test about 3,348 (p < 0.01). It tells us about the difference of work satisfaction based on gender leadership which is the empiric mean for male leadership around 143,652 and for female leadership around 128,990. This result shows that teacher work satisfaction who had male leadership is higher than who had female leadership.Key words: gender in leadership, work satisfaction

Abstract

Happiness is one of the most meaningful positive emotion dan related to motivation to do many things. In order to gain happiness, a lot of people become passive and not going to do anything. In fact, there are many simple things to do to feel the flow experiences and get happiness. This might be happened because happiness is an adaptive behavior that can be learned by anybody. Abstract

Up to now the world of entrepreneurship has been considered as world of men while actually there are not few women who attempt to become entrepreneur. According to Drucker (1988) this fact is due to the number of woman entrepreneurs are less than man entrepreneurs and the majority moves in small or temporary business. Nevertheless since the 1980’s number of woman entrepreneurs has been increasing rapidly. In Singapore from 15% woman entrepreneurs there is 5% increase so there is 20 % out of 160000 entrepreneurs. The data from Badan Pusat Statistik (1999) says that in Jakarta there were 25% woman in productive age were entrepreneurs. Data from Badan Pusat Statistik (http://www.pikiranrakyat.com/cetak/0703/07/06xl.htm) also says that 40,79% of 2 millions micro business and 194.564 small enterprise scale in industry sector 896,047 (40,79%) running by woman entrepreneurs. According to Drucker (1988) this fact shows that entrepreneurship belongs to all people because anyone can learn about it. Behavior, concept, and theory could be studied by anyone. Everybody can learn entrepreneurship including womenThis paper wil describe fear of success and risk taking among Balinese woman entrepreneur. Abstract

Street children phenomenon has grown old, but at this time into the world's attention, along with the increasing number of street children in many big cities in the world. This study aims to examine how the concept description Up the Streets Age Child and Adolescent why the concept of self can be created. The concept itself is a picture and descriptive evaluative individuals about themselves, or research on self-assessment, or how someone looked himself. According to Baldwin & Holmes (in Calhoun & Acocella 1995), the concept of self-forming factors is teenage parents, his contemporary, the community, and learning. The sample in this research is a street children who have dropped out of contact with their families, and participate fully in the streets, either social or economic. According to Patton (Poerwandari in 1998) a qualitative research could examine in depth the case of single (n = 1) is selected purposively. Based on the opinion, the research in this subject was one person. Techniques of data gathering is done by observation and interviews. According Poerwandari (1998), the interview is a discussion that focused on achieving a particular purpose. In this study, researcher uses non-participant observation method. According to Hadi (1986), observer does not perform consecutive observations at least in part the behavior of people - people who observed. From the results of the analysis of data, it is known that in general, the concept of self that the self is the subject of a negative self-concept. It can be seen from some of the subjects themselves who most look himself in the negative side. And it also can also be caused by several factors that shape self-concept to the negative direction, such as parents, friends of the, and the community.Key words: self-concept, street children

Abstract

Marriage and family life is very important for human being because from them, he/she will shape his/her own life, and from the family he/she learns to interact with surroundings. Each person wants to have a one-ina-lifetime-happines-marriage. One of the criteria that affect marriage is the marital satisfaction. Thus, self-disclosure is mentioned as one thing that affecting marital communication to make a real marital satisfaction. In daily life, women has better self-disclosure than men to articulate the feelings verbally. This facts is important to be known because men is more honest and open about himself in make a marital communication to have more marital satisfaction with his wife. The aim of this study is to know the contribution of self-disclosure to marital satisfaction in men. The results shows that self-disclosure has contribution around 56,9%, and the rest are another factors such as the equalitarian, sex, social life, region, and income. Beside that, the participants of this study has high score in marital satisfaction, and moderate score in self-disclosure.Key words: marital satisfaction, self-disclosure, men

Abstract

Meditation comes from religion ritual basically, and then it goes to science domain, especially in psychology transpersonal. Meditation has a root from religion tradition from India, Japan, China, and Java. Nowadays, meditation is growing up faster in West and empirically using for the holistic human development. Meditation gives many advantages physically, psychologically, and socially. There are some studies support this findings, in traditional meditation and also modern meditation that using music in its processes. Some experiments are developed by meditation exercises as independent variable and some personality aspects for dependent variables. On the other hand,still, only few studies about the altered state of consciousness. Because of that this writing tries to enhancing the knowledge about the use of traditional meditation and also qualitative research related to altered state of consciousness in meditation with music. Key words: meditation, meditation with music, altered state of consciousness

Abstract

The imbalance increasing number of motorcycle every year compared to the increasing street development causing traffic jam. The traffic jam also cause stress on motorcycle driver. The aim of this study is to know the stress and the coping stress on motorcycle driver, with one research subject which is a man who usually drive motorcycle every day. The factors that can cause stress are physic stressor; such as weather and traffic jam, social stressor; such as busy hours, crowded streets and reckless drivers. The psychological symptomps are exhausted physic and easy to get angry or mad on the street. The subject uses emotion-focused coping and problem-focused coping to handle those conditions.Key words: stress, coping stress, motorcycle driver
